2-[2-(Dicyclohexylphosphino)phenyl]-1-methyl-1H-indol is a structural isomer that can be used to synthesize phosphonate compounds. It can be used in the amination reaction, cross-coupling, and Suzuki coupling reactions. This compound has been found to react with 2-aminobenzyl alcohol and palladium as catalysts. It is also used in the synthesis of halides, such as chlorides, tosylates, and mesylates. The FTIR spectrum for this compound shows that it reacts with aryl chlorides and aryl tosylate.
