Description

Trypsin is a protease that cleaves peptide bonds of proteins. It is used as a research tool and an activator to determine the function of ligands or receptors. Trypsin can also be used as a receptor to study protein interactions, and as an inhibitor to study the effects of peptides on ion channels. Trypsin is purified from bovine pancreas.
