Product Information

Name:
Thalidezine
Description:

Thalidezine is a new ampk activator that has been shown to inhibit cancer by inducing autophagy. Thalidezine is a stearidonic acid derivative with hydrochloric acid and fatty acids as substituents. It does not have any ether linkages, but does have an inhibitory effect on inflammatory diseases and symptoms. Thalidezine inhibits the production of reactive oxygen species and proinflammatory cytokines, which are involved in the development of inflammation. Thalidezine also inhibits the activity of amp-activated protein kinase (AMPK), which regulates cellular metabolism and energy homeostasis. This inhibition leads to decreased cell growth and proliferation, as well as increased apoptosis, leading to an anti-cancer effect.
