Product Information
SGN is a neurotrophic factor that promotes the survival of cells by binding to a receptor on the cell surface. It has been shown to have an effect on the viability of cancer cells, as well as inducing hypoglycemic effects in mice. SGN has been shown to be able to bind to the tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) receptor and inhibit TNF-α-induced apoptosis in h9c2 cells. This protein may also have therapeutic potential for treating diseases such as t-cell lymphomas, otoacoustic emissions, and tumors.
