It is an antiparasitic, antibiotic and antiviral agent that binds to the beta-subunit of RNA polymerase and inhibits transcription. Penicilloic acids of flucloxacillin disodium salt is a natural product that has been found in the plant species Penicillium griseofulvinum. This product can be used for chemotherapy, life science research, or as a medicine against microorganisms (e.g., bacteria).
