Description:Food Blue 2:1 is a blue dye that is used to color foods, cosmetics, and other products. It has a water-soluble hydroxyl group and a diameter of around 300 nm. It is insoluble in organic solvents such as acetone or ether. Food Blue 2:1 has been shown to be effective against bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. When irradiated with light at about 400 nm, it becomes more stable than other dyes. This dye can be customized for different applications, including food coloring, optical brightening agent, preservative agent in detergents, textile dyeing agent, and the like.
