Product Information
Cardenolide B-1 is a cardenolide with antiinflammatory activity. It has been shown to have significant effects on tumor cells in vitro, and to inhibit the expression of ICAM-1, a molecule important for the movement of white blood cells into the tumor. Cardenolide B-1 also inhibits proliferation of human liver cells and human cell lines. Cardenolide B-1 has been shown to be effective against cancerous cells in mice, as well as against inflammatory conditions in humans. It is extracted from plants such as Eleutherococcus senticosus and Panax ginseng.
