It can inhibit the growth of cancer cells by inhibition of DNA synthesis, RNA synthesis, protein synthesis, and lipid biosynthesis. Tert-butyl indoline-1-carboxylate also exhibits potent antiangiogenic effects and induces apoptosis in endothelial cells.
