Description:N,N,N',N'-Tetrapropylmalonamide (TPMA) is a colorless liquid that is soluble in both organic solvents and water. TPMA is an amidoamine with the chemical formula CH3CONCH2NHCH2CH2CONH. It has been shown to be an effective treatment method for osmotic stress by inhibiting the formation of peroxide. This compound also has a viscosity that increases with increasing temperature. The viscosity of this compound increases at temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius and reaches a maximum at ˜50 degrees Celsius.
