Product Information
Eleclazine is a pharmaceutical drug that is used to treat a variety of diseases. It mainly affects the heart by increasing the intracellular calcium concentration, which leads to an increase in cardiac contractility. Eleclazine has also been shown to be effective against cancer cells and can be used as a diagnostic agent for identifying cancerous cells. Eleclazine is activated by esterases and hydrolyzes into atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP). Eleclazine inhibits the Na channel and prevents electrical currents from passing through it, preventing the generation of action potentials. This results in potent inhibition of neuronal activity.
