Product Information
Caffeic acid 4-β-D-glucuronide is a plant-derived phenolic compound. It has been shown to have anticarcinogenic, antioxidant, and antiinflammatory properties in Sprague-Dawley rats. Caffeic acid 4-β-D-glucuronide has also been found to inhibit the proliferation of MCF7 cells. This compound has been shown to be genotoxic in the wst1 assay, but it does not induce genetic mutations or chromosomal aberrations. Caffeic acid 4-β-D-glucuronide is rapidly metabolized by glucoses into 5-caffeoylquinic acid and eriocitrin.
