Product Information
ARV-825 is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of enzymes in the secretase pathway, which are involved in the production of amyloid beta peptides. It has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in mouse xenografts with a significant cytotoxic effect. ARV-825 causes cell cycle arrest and apoptosis by inhibiting transcription-polymerase chain reaction and DNA synthesis. The molecule also inhibits Jak2 V617F, which is thought to be implicated in Alzheimer's disease. ARV-825 has been shown to significantly inhibit cell proliferation without any cytotoxicity at concentrations up to 100 μM.
