Description:

ML329 is a small molecule that inhibits protein synthesis. It is structurally similar to pterostilbene, a natural compound found in blueberries and grapes. ML329 has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by blocking the production of new proteins that are necessary for cell division. This drug also has an inhibitory effect on melanogenesis, leading to the inhibition of melanin production in cells. ML329 has been shown to be effective against malignant melanoma cells, but it does not have a significant effect on cardiac hypertrophy in rats.
