Product Information
Isocostic acid is a natural compound found in Dittrichia graveolens that has been shown to have anticancer activity. Isocostic acid has been shown to inhibit the growth of p. aeruginosa and cervical cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit cell growth by interacting with molecular targets such as cyclohexane ring. Isocostic acid is also effective against cancers such as breast cancer and prostate cancer due to its stereoselective properties. In addition, isocostic acid may be used as a substitute for p-hydroxybenzoic acid in the food industry because it has been shown not to produce carcinogenic effects when ingested.
