Description:
Isolicoflavonol is a flavonoid that acts as an aromatase inhibitor. It blocks the conversion of androstenedione to estrone, which can lead to a decrease in estrogen levels. Isolicoflavonol has been shown to have hypoglycemic effects in rats and can inhibit tumor growth in animals. This molecule also induces cell lysis in cancer cells, leading to cell death. Isolicoflavonol also has anti-inflammatory properties due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis.
