6-Methoxynaringenin is a flavonoid found in plants of the Lamiaceae family. It has been shown to have antibacterial properties against red blood cells and antigen, as well as anti-aging effects. 6-Methoxynaringenin is also a potent inhibitor of dna replication and has been shown to decrease enteroscopy damage. The chemical study of this compound has been done on horses, bv2 microglial cells, and Drosophila melanogaster diploid cells.
