7-Aminoisoindolin-1-one is a chemotype of the compound class of isocoumarins. It has potent antiproliferative activity against cancer cell lines and selective cytotoxicity against cancer cells. It has been shown to selectively inhibit the tyrosine phosphorylation of protein kinases and induce apoptosis in human cancer cells. 7-Aminoisoindolin-1-one belongs to the family of x-ray, which is an organic compound with an amino group at the 7th carbon. This chemical can be used as a starting material for synthesizing other compounds that have anticancer properties.
