Dabuzalgron is a drug that acts as an inhibitor of mitochondrial functions. It is used in clinical studies to treat symptoms of menopause, including hot flashes and night sweats. Dabuzalgron has been shown to increase uptake in women by up to 30%. This drug also increases the mitochondrial function in cells, which is necessary for effective chemotherapy. Dabuzalgron has been shown to have physiological effects, such as pro-apoptotic protein and apoptotic effect on bladder cancer cells.
