Description:
ANA 12 is a neurotrophic factor that promotes neuronal survival. It is a peptide consisting of 12 amino acids, and has been shown to inhibit mitochondrial superoxide production and neuronal death. ANA 12 has also been shown to have genotoxic activity in vitro and in vivo, as well as toxicity studies. The safety of ANA12 for use in humans has not yet been established.
