Description:

Pardoprunox is a 5-HT1A receptor agonist that has been shown to have efficacy in treating locomotor disorders and metabolic disorders. Pardoprunox is a polymorphic drug, which means the drug can exist as different molecular structures with varying properties. The clinical studies of pardoprunox have shown that it is effective when used at doses of 2.5mg/kg in rats and mice. Pardoprunox has also been found to be useful for the treatment of primary analysis, an autoimmune disease where antibodies are produced against body tissue, including nerves and joints.
