Product Information
DBIBB is a molecule that binds to the specific receptor. It has been shown to protect mice from radiation-induced intestinal damage, inhibitory effect on intestinal epithelial cell proliferation, and decrease in clonogenic survival. DBIBB is an agonist of the G protein coupled receptor and has been shown to have a pleiotropic effect on the inhibition of hydrochloric acid secretion and the activation of chloride channels. DBIBB also reduces inflammation by inhibiting histamine release, which may be due to its binding to the H1 receptor. This drug also has an inhibitory effect on oxidative stress and tissue injury caused by radiation exposure.
