Description:

Diphenylterazine is a red fluorescent dye that belongs to the group of active substances. It is used in plant physiology research as an indicator for the presence of ethylene, which regulates plant growth and development. Diphenylterazine can be detected by chemical ionization in urine samples and has a low elimination rate. This compound inhibits protein synthesis in human liver cells and has been shown to interact with drugs such as warfarin, phenytoin, carbamazepine, and valproic acid. Diphenylterazine inhibits the activity of cytochrome P450 enzymes and may also have an effect on blood pressure.
