It is a metabolically stable, orally bioavailable, and penetrable inhibitor of the azolylbenzamide-induced hyperalgesia in animals. 1ACHP also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. The compound has been shown to have good metabolic stability, with only one metabolite detected in rat urine after oral administration.
