Product Information
CYM 50308 is a molecule that binds to and activates the sphingosine kinase receptor. It has been shown to stabilize wild-type strains of HIV, as well as inhibit cancer cell proliferation. CYM 50308 also reduces blood pressure by stimulating the receptor activity of the angiotensin II type 2 receptor. This agent has no effect on serotonin reuptake inhibition, which may be due to its inability to interact with serotonin receptors. CYM 50308 may act as a biological enhancer or normalizer by increasing the production of serine protease in cells.
