Acetic acid 2-[[(1R,2S)-2-aminocyclohexyl]amino]-4-[3-(triazol-2-yl)anilino]pyrimidine-5-carboxamide is a peptide that is a potent inhibitor of protein interactions. It binds to the active site of the enzyme phosphatidylinositol 3'-kinase, which is involved in cell signaling. This inhibition prevents the production of phosphorylated phosphoinositides, which are necessary for cell proliferation and survival. Acetic acid 2-[[(1R,2S)-2-aminocyclohexyl]amino]-4-[3-(triazol-2-yl)anilino]pyrimidine-5-carboxamide has also been shown to be an activator for G protein coupled receptors.
