Description:
6-Hydroxykaempferol 3-o-β-D-glucoside is a flavonoid, which is a type of plant pigment. It has been shown to have cardioprotective effects in vitro. The mechanism of action for these effects is not known, but it may be due to the ability to inhibit h2o2-induced apoptosis in h9c2 cells. 6-Hydroxykaempferol 3-o-β-D-glucoside also has antioxidant properties and may protect cells from oxidative damage by inhibiting lipid peroxidation.
