DavePhos-Pd-G3 is a heterogeneous catalyst with a phosphorous-gold (Pd) core and can be used in the synthesis of alkenes. The Pd core has been shown to catalyze the oxidative addition of cyclopropane to give an alkene in good yield and excellent stereoselectivity. The Pd core is prepared from a mixture of PdCl2, HCl, and elemental gold (Au).
