Product Information
Pipendoxifene hydrochloride is a selective estrogen receptor beta agonist that is used to treat endometrial cancer. It binds to the estrogen receptor and activates it, leading to inhibition of cell growth and induction of apoptosis. Pipendoxifene hydrochloride has a crystalline polymorphic form that is resistant to degradation by liver enzymes. This form of the drug has been shown to be potent in animals with carcinoma cells. Pipendoxifene hydrochloride can also be used as an anti-cancer agent, as well as an anti-cancer agent for breast cancer.
