N-[(1R,2R)-2-[[[[(1R,2R)-2-(Dimethylamino)cyclohexyl]amino]thioxomethyl]amino]-1,2-diphenylethyl]-3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzenesulfonamide (NUJ101) is a bifunctional organic solvent that has been shown to be a highly efficient catalyst for the asymmetric hydrogenation of various types of substrates. NUJ101 can be used in organic synthesis as a solvent and as an organocatalyst. It is soluble in dichloromethane and ethyl acetate. This compound is also soluble in ether.
