Product Information

Name:
Cjb 090 dihydrochloride hydrate
Description:

Cjb 090 is a peptide that has been shown to activate G protein-coupled receptors and ion channels. Cjb 090 is a potent activator of the human receptor for gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) and of the mouse GnRH receptor. It also activates the rat vasopressin 1a receptor, but not the vasopressin 2a receptor. The binding affinity of Cjb 090 for these receptors is in the low picomolar range, which is typical for peptides. The binding site of Cjb 090 for these receptors has not yet been identified experimentally, but it may be a transmembrane domain. This compound may be used as an inhibitor or an activator in cell biology research or as a pharmacological tool in drug discovery. >
