Product Information
4-(4-Methylbenzyl)morpholine is a nitro compound that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of mental disorders. It is a selective ligand for the 5-HT2A receptor and has high affinity for this receptor. 4-(4-Methylbenzyl)morpholine is also a heterocycle, which means it contains at least one nitrogen atom, and can be synthesized using solid-phase chemistry. The synthesis includes c1-6 alkyl groups such as methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl and pentyl. This drug binds to the quaternary ammonium salt site of the 5-HT2A receptor protein and inhibits its activity. 4-(4-Methylbenzyl)morpholine has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on hydroxamic acids.
