Product Information
Griselinoside is a verbascoside ester that has been found to be biosynthesized in plants, including perennials. It has been shown to have a variety of biological effects, including the ability to inhibit the growth of organisms such as bacteria and fungi. Griselinoside is an alpha-tocopherol tautomer that can be converted into acteoside by an enzyme called genipinase. This conversion can take place in vitro or in vivo, with the latter being more common. The compound isomers of griselinoside are known as litoralis and alpha-gelsemine.
