N-[1-(3-Cyclopropyl-1,2,4-oxadiazol-5-yl)cyclohexyl]-2-(2-thienyl)acetamide is a novel small molecule that modulates ion channels. It has shown to be an activator of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR). N-[1-(3-Cyclopropyl-1,2,4-oxadiazol-5-yl)cyclohexyl]-2-(2-thienyl)acetamide can also inhibit the activity of ligand gated ion channels and has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of the serotonin 5HT3 receptor. This drug has been shown to have high purity and a CAS number of 1396794-79-8.
