Description:17β-Estradiol-d5 is a derivative of estradiol that can be used for the preparation of immobilized estrogen receptors. 17β-Estradiol-d5 has been covalently immobilized to a magnetic bead and has been shown to have high affinity for estrogen receptors. The immobilization process was carried out by using a multiwell immobilization method, followed by activation with benzoate. The resulting product was then separated from the beads by using an alcohol solution. This preparative method allows for the production of large quantities of activated estrogen receptor without any loss in quality or purity.
