The analytical method for sulfoxaflor is based on the determination of terminal residues in honeybees using gas chromatography with mass spectrometry detection (GC-MS). This product is not toxic to mammals or birds at low doses, but has carcinogenic potential. Sulfoxaflor has been shown to cause high resistance levels in insects.
