DMU2105 is a synthetic chalcone that is cytotoxic to cancer cells. It has been shown to be more potent than cisplatin in inhibiting the growth of cancer cells. It also inhibits cytochrome P450 enzymes, such as CYP2C19 and CYP2C9, which are involved in drug metabolism. DMU2105 is currently being studied for its potential use in treating glaucoma.
