Description:
Arborinine is a natural compound that is found in the Chinese herb, Usnea. It has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against colorectal adenocarcinoma cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the mitochondrial membrane potential. Arborinine also has anticancer properties and has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in culture by causing cell cycle arrest.
