Cannflavin B is a natural product that belongs to the class of glycoside derivatives. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory activity, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines and chemokines in vitro. Cannflavin B has also been found to inhibit tumor growth in colorectal adenocarcinoma cells. The structure of cannflavin B was elucidated using X-ray crystallography and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. This compound interacts with cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2, as well as GPR55. Its anti-inflammatory properties may be related to its structural similarity with cannabidiol (CBD).
