4',4-Dimethoxydihydrochalcone is a natural compound with antioxidant properties. The structure of this molecule has been computationally investigated and the magnetic shift was measured experimentally. Linear regression has been used to find the correlation between the nmr chemical shift and the cost-effectiveness of this molecule in relation to other antioxidants. This experimental data was then used to investigate its conformational behavior, which may be important for its cost-effectiveness.
