Description

Eucomin is a natural product that has been found in the roots of Ophiopogon japonicus. This compound is a cox-2 inhibitor and has anti-inflammatory properties. It has been shown to inhibit the production of prostaglandins, which are involved in inflammatory reactions. Eucomin also inhibits ovatifolia and muscari, two model organisms used to study the biological properties of this compound.
