Description

PP2 is a protein phosphatase inhibitor that binds to and inhibits the activity of protein kinases. It has been shown that PP2 can inhibit the activation of apoptosis by interfering with the mitochondrial functions and DNA binding activity. The inhibition of this pathway leads to an increase in cell survival. As a result, PP2 may be used in cancer treatment or other diseases where apoptosis is involved in the pathology.
