Product Information
Bonducellpin C is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme diterpene synthase. It has shown dose-dependent anti-malarial activity and is a natural product in plants, such as caesalpinia and forskolin. Bonducellpin C binds to the active site of the enzyme, preventing it from creating new molecules. This inhibition leads to an accumulation of the substrate and an increase in the concentration of its natural product, which can then be used by other enzymes in the pathway.
