Description

Isomucronulatol is a natural compound and has been shown to inhibit the growth of oral pathogens. Isomucronulatol is a dinucleotide phosphate with an unusual chemical structure. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in some animal studies, which may be due to its ability to inhibit tnf-α and etoac extract release from monocytes and macrophages. Isomucronulatol inhibits the production of lacrimal gland cells by inhibiting the function of histamine H2 receptors and TNF-α in the presence of lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Clinical studies have shown that oral administration of this compound was not associated with any adverse effects on laboratory parameters or other clinical findings.
