Description:
Isorhamnetin-5-O-methyl ether-3-glucoside is a flavonoid extracted from the Chinese herb atractylodes, which has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of cancer and other diseases. This compound has been shown to exhibit significant cytotoxicity against various types of cancer cells, including human gastric cancer cells. Isorhamnetin-5-O-methyl ether-3-glucoside has also been found to inhibit fatty acid synthesis in rat liver cells.
