Description

Isosinensetin is a coumarin derivative that has minimal toxicity, which is thought to be due to the low bioavailability of the compound. Isosinensetin has been shown to have biological properties such as activation of the PPARγ receptor and inhibition of the formation of new blood vessels. Isosinensetin also has molecular docking analysis against caspase-independent cell death, response element, pro-apoptotic protein, and skin tumor formation. This compound may be an effective treatment for epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT), hepatic steatosis, and mda-mb-231 breast cancer.
