9,9-Dimethyl-N,N²-di(1-naphthyl)-N,N²-diphenyl-9H-fluorene-2,7-diamine (DNTPD) is a fluorescent material that emits light when excited by an electron beam. It is used in optoelectronic devices such as lasers and light emitting diodes. DNTPD has high efficiencies and its transport properties are not affected by the presence of other molecules. This substance can be processed into thin films with a thickness of less than 1 micrometre. DNTPD can also be used for analyzing DNA hybridization and nature of processable materials.
