Product Information
KRCA 0008 is a molecule that activates the function of an enzyme called tyrosine kinase. It has been shown to be effective against Alzheimer's disease, tumor xenografts, and neurodegenerative diseases. KRCA 0008 is orally active and activates the tyrosine kinase in vivo. The molecular modeling of KRCA 0008 reveals that it binds to the carbohydrate binding site on the enzyme, which is located at the interface between two domains. This binding causes conformational changes in the protein, activating it by removing its auto-inhibition.
