Product Information
Kansuiphorin C is a natural product that modulates the signal pathways of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Kansuiphorin C has been shown to inhibit the production of fatty acids in cells, which may be due to its ability to bind and activate acetyl-CoA carboxylase. The acetate extract from this plant also showed anticomplement activity. Kansuiphorin C is undergoing clinical trials for cancer treatment. It has been shown to have a chemical composition that includes diterpenes and chemical structures, such as polyacetylene, polyprenol, and polyisoprenoid. Ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) was used to identify these compounds.
