Product Information
MSX-122 is a potent chemokine receptor CXCR4 inhibitor that has been shown to inhibit HIV infection in animal models. It also has potent anti-tumor effects on a wide range of cancer cells, including breast cancer, and can be administered orally. MSX-122 inhibits cytosolic calcium mobilization by binding to the CXCR4 receptor and prevents leukocyte migration. This drug also inhibits tumor growth by preventing the accumulation of hematopoietic cells at the site of tumor invasion. The molecule has low toxicity in animals and has been found to be safe for use in human clinical trials.
