Description:
Monna is a diphenyl ether compound that has been shown to have a protective effect on the nervous system by reducing oxidative stress and free radical production in the brain. Monna also has an anti-inflammatory effect, which may be due to its ability to scavenge reactive oxygen species. A study using human protein has shown that Monna is able to react with hydroxyl groups and form new compounds with methoxy groups. These new compounds are then metabolized by the enzyme cytochrome P450, which leads to a decrease in activity index and tumor growth rate.
